There was significant capital investment at Decco during calendar year 1999. A Kloster 75lb. /min. continuous no bake mixer was installed in the core room. The success with this machine was so great that we installed a 300lb. /min. mixer in the molding area. This upgrade has enabled us to perform all core making at Decco. In addition our dry sand mold making ability was greatly enhanced by the larger mixer.

Also, a state of the art Gardner Denver screw air compressor was purchased replacing our older version. This energy efficient machine will provide reliable, clean air to the pneumatic tools used in our production operation at lower electrical power consumption.
